Since I'm only 18 and still in full-time education, I haven't had a great deal of opportunity to go travelling. I have, however, had a lot of time to think about all the places I want to go.
At the moment, the place I'm wanting to go to the most is Japan. When I say this, I'm not talking about the cities with their millions of people, the fast-paced streets, the smoke etc. In fact, I'm desperate to go to the ancient parts of Japan and be very, very peaceful. I want to be surrounded by cherry blossom and temples and silence.
So here's a quick rundown of the parts of Japan that I want to visit the most.
Recently, I've been reading a lot about the environment. Personally, I think it's a really important issue and we should be doing all we can to preserve the planet, save the bees, reduce CO2 etc. It makes me really sad to see how our society is distancing itself further and further from nature and I think the effects of this are serious.
